To make Opera your default browser in Opera’s settings:
I had no idea what might be causing it, but since only DuckDuckGo was active, I deleted the extensions and the app. And now, everything else works. So, something isn't right. Thus, 2 stars, and uninstalled. I deleted my Opera Stable profile from AppDataRoaming. I deleted my Opera Stable cache from AppDataLocal. I uninstalled Opera. I removed the current and past versions of Opera from 'C:Program Files (x86)Opera'. (I run Win7 x64.) I reinstalled Opera. IT DOES THE SAME EXACT THING. I give a vote of no-confidence for Opera version 21.0.1432.67. The Safari browser comes pre-installed with macOS and it’s a browser many people love. The decline was the third in as many months, an unusual run that's occurred only four times in the browser's 15 years. (The last time it happened before this was in September-December 2019.).
- Open Opera.

If you have now switched over from a different browser, be sure to import your browsing data to Opera.
I made Opera my default browser, but my computer still opens web content in another browser. How do I fix that?
Even if you made Opera your default browser in Opera’s settings, your Windows, Mac, or Linux computer may use another installed browser to open web links or documents. This happens because another browser is set to default on your computer.

Update: Please see our Java support on Windows 10 or Java support in Google Chrome articles for the latest information on how to use Java on your PC. macOS and iOS users should refer to Java support in Safari 12. The option to configure Java in Opera described below is no longer supported by Opera. You may also like How to use free Opera VPN.
Opera is a free web browser application developed by Opera (formerly Opera Software ASA) of Norway. The desktop version is supported by Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, and a mobile version of the web browser is also available. At the end of 2014, Opera stated that 350 million users were using its web browsers. The Opera desktop version supports the Java plug-in. Below is how to enable and disable Java in Opera for each platform.
In September 2015, Opera unveiled a new brand identity. Notion so macos app. This included a redesign of its recognizable red “O” logo. The new 3D logo is intended to symbolize a gateway for users to gain access to more of what they are seeking online. In addition to revamping the “O” logo, Opera dropped the “Software” from its logo too, seeing their current efforts as more of an Internet company rather than a software company.
Enable and Disable Java in Opera
For users running the Windows and Mac operating systems, Opera uses the Java plug-in to run Java applets. If Java applets do not load in Opera, you may not have Java installed on your computer, Java may not be working correctly on your computer, or Opera may not have plug-ins enabled (or all of these reasons). Information about how to enable plug-ins in Opera is below. https://ppyplnw.weebly.com/blog/best-app-to-keep-my-mac-clean.
Enable Plug-ins on Windows
To enable plug-ins in Opera on Windows, open the web browser’s Preferences. On Windows, click the menu in the upper left corner, and select Settings (or type Alt+P). In the left navigation, click the Websites link. In the Plug-ins section of the page, select the Run all plug-in content (recommended) radio button.

Changes are saved automatically even though there is no Save button, or a notification that the change has been saved. To disable all plug-ins such as Java, deselect the Run all plug-in content (recommended) check box. If needed, you may also click the Disable individual plug-ins link under Plug-ins to disable Java individually without impacting other plug-ins.
Enable Plug-ins on Mac OS X
On Mac OS X, click the Opera menu in the menu bar, and select Preferences. App store evernote mac.
In the Preferences window, click the Advanced tab. Check the Enable plug-ins check box, then click OK to save your change.
To disable plug-ins such as Java, uncheck the Enable plug-ins check box.
